Colorado Lemon Law Eligibility Assessment

Reviews vehicle eligibility, warranty coverage, defects, repair attempts, out-of-service time, notice, records, and remedy readiness.

Who this is for: new-vehicle owners evaluating state Lemon Law protections.

Colorado law note (August 12, 2026): For qualifying Colorado vehicles, reforms effective August 7, 2024 provide presumptions that can involve three unsuccessful repair attempts, two attempts for a safety-based defect, or 24 business days out of service. Eligibility is tied to the first two years or 24,000 miles, the manufacturer receives a final 10-business-day opportunity after notice, and the limitations period is generally 30 months after delivery.
