Colorado Probate Pathway Assessment

Reviews date-of-death assets, title, beneficiary designations, will status, real property, value, creditors, disputes, and possible administration paths.

Who this is for: families deciding how an estate may need to be administered.

Colorado law note (August 12, 2026): Colorado permits collection of qualifying personal property by affidavit when the probate estate is below the annually adjusted statutory amount and no real estate must be transferred. Use the current JDF 998 and JDF 999 and do not rely on an older dollar figure; title, creditor, dispute, and appointment issues can require a probate case.
