Learn at your own pace
Legal GPS starts with what happened, then asks what you want to understand and which location is involved. Nine topics have separate California and Oregon guides. The creator and brand guide explains federal concepts through trademark, copyright, AI, and music branches.
What you can make here
Each guide offers explanations related to your choices, fictional examples, a worksheet for organizing records, and questions you can save. You can print the report or save it as a PDF through your browser.
How your answers are used
Your choices select written lessons. They are not checked against your documents, court records, or other evidence. A count of answers or topics is a description of your session, not an assessment of legal risk or readiness.
These guides do not choose a legal strategy, determine a deadline, recommend a legal document or business structure, or decide your rights, eligibility, or likely outcome. They do not prepare court filings or create an attorney-client relationship.
Help and timing
You do not need to finish a guide before seeking help. If you have court papers, an agency notice, or a scheduled event, use the original document and the named court or agency to check what it requires. Completing a guide does not preserve a deadline.
